Haygain HG 2000

Haygain High Temperature Hay Steaming supports respiratory, digestive and overall horse health. It is the only scientifically proven method for significantly reducing respirable irritants and allergens commonly found in forage.

Haygain’s patented steaming technology adds moisture to hay, aiding digestion and hydration. Haygain Steaming preserves hay’s nutrients and Steamed Hay’s proven appetite appeal helps even picky eaters get what they need from their most important food source.

The HG 2000 features two of Haygain’s patented spike manifolds. This system injects high-temperature steam evenly throughout forage in a double-skinned, thermally sealed chest. The steaming process attains and maintains temperatures over 80°C, which is required to kill mould and bacteria.

Haygain Steam Generator: The Haygain 2.6 kW features a built-in timer to ensure the steamer only operates for the programmed duration, improving both safety and energy efficiency.

• A new selector switch now allows you to choose how the boiler is controlled:
• Timer Mode – use the built-in timer for straightforward, automatic steaming cycles.
• External Control Mode – disable the internal timer so the unit becomes fully compatible with a wall timer, ideal if you prefer to schedule steam cycles in advance.

With a maximum capacity of 7.7 litres, the steam generator is designed for regular daily use. It also includes a “run dry” alarm and warning light to prevent overheating if the water level becomes too low.
