Omega fatty acids have a vital role in health and disease prevention across all species. Supplementation is widely suggested to improve performance and combat disease. However, the available evidence about which omega fatty acids are important in horses, and how to provide them is often confusing. This webinar aims to review the basic science of omega fatty acid use in horses. with the aim of helping veterinarians make informed choices about when supplementation is indicated, and how to evaluate commercially available products.
