Animalintex 10/Pk

Animalintex - Moist as a poultice or dry as a wound dressing. Animalintex is used worldwide as a wound dressing and traction plaster. Its application options as a moist-warm, moist-cold and dry dressing make it unique, thanks to the following components:

- Boric acid as a mild antiseptic

- Traganth as a hydrogoscopic component

- Cotton absorbs, protects and warms

- A padding layer of absorbent cotton prevents additional injuries

- The film on the back protects against external contamination, traps moisture and heat

As a warm, moist poultice: bruises, contusions, infected wounds, moulting, laminitis, burns, abscesses, hoof abscesses, nail tread, splinters, thrush

As a cold, moist poultice: sprains, strains, shins, piebaldness, bedsores, overlegs, laminitis

As a dry wound dressing: Open, clean wounds

As a pressure bandage: Minor sprains, after training, bile, cross bile

• Clean the affected area well.
  
• Cut Animalintex to size and save the rest.
  
• Place Animalintex with the plastic side up in a bucket or container (this should be clean).
  
• Then use boiled (not boiling) water (around 38 °C) and pour on the container until the dressing floats; do not submerge.
  
• Once the dressing is well moistened, you can carefully cut it to size.
  
• Place the dressing with the plastic side up on the skin area and shape it to the body structure.
  
• Cover the dressing completely with a bandage.
